An interesting role which will involve you in project managing the development of electronics systems from concept to production.
More specifically, the job will involve:-
- Delivery of new products to time, cost and quality
- Providing technical leadership to a mutli-disciplinary design team.
- Developing prototypes for further development and testing.
- Maintaining tight fiscal controls on all projects.
- Maintaining close contacts with customers at all times.
To be successful you must meet the following requirements:-
- Hold a degree of equivalent in electronics or mechanical engineering
- Have at least 10 year’s experience of electronics / mechanical engineering including at least 5 year’s of managing projects.
- Have experience of NPI.
- A good working knowledge of analogue and digital systems development, ideally including DSP and motor control systems.
As the job will involve some defence contract work you must have, or be eligible to gain, defence clearance. Own transport is essential as the job will involve some travel, both in the UK and abroad.
Salary: to £40,000 plus benefits
