Working with a market leader in the design and commissioning of Safety and Control Systems. This job is the interface between the Customer and the Company and as such demands excellent customer facing skills, commercial awareness and through understanding of Safety and Control Systemss. You will have been aware and take into account the whole project lifecycle, from initial design concepts through to installation.
As this position carries much influence with the Customer, candidates must assure accurate, timely completion of tenders to high standards and within budget. You will provide verbal and written reports to communicate tender status (both technical and commercial) as required and contribute to project review meetings.
Qualifications: Degree qualified in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
Skills & Experience:
• Experience in an applications position within the Control and Instrumentation environment with Experience of commercial and contractual issues.
• Attention to detail of work including design of adequate checking / validation procedures to appropriate quality standards and requirements of Functional Safety Management to IEC 61508.
• Working knowledge of Control and Safety Systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, FIRE & GAS and ESD) applications and instrumentation
• Use of appropriate professional standards in the execution of your work, including awareness of risk factors.
Salary: to £35,000
