An excellent opportunity with n established & successful market leader for the provision of flow control systems (valves, actuators, pumps, process control equipment) seeking to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer.
Your role will be to manage internal sales engineering projects from initial enquiry & provision of sound technical advice related to customer specifications, through customer negotiation, preparation of sales contracts through to product delivery. You will need good inter-personal skills & the ability to forge close working relationships with 'key account' customers. You should have the ability to manage a number of sales projects at any one time with a good understanding of computerised business systems.
You will be educated to HND/Degree level in mechanical or chemical engineering; possibly a recent graduate with some sales or technical support experience, or an experienced mechanical engineer with a sales, projects or technical support background. You should ideally possess a knowledge of the various applications of different valves & control systems used within the process control industries. An understanding of boiler house and steam related systems would be particularly useful, but is not essential.
Salary: £22,000 - 27,000
The salary offered will reflect the experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
